The 20oz is the most popular -- it fits in most car cup holders, is light enough to carry all day, and holds enough for a standard workout or work session. The 32oz is the choice for people who want to hit their daily hydration goal with fewer refills.

Step 2: Enter Your Personalization

On the product page, you'll see the personalization field. Here's what to know before you type:

• Character limit is 40 characters -- a name, short phrase, or date fits comfortably
• Shorter text reads more cleanly -- a single name or 3-4 word phrase is better than a full sentence
• Capitalization matters: 'Sarah' looks different from 'SARAH' -- decide which you want
• Punctuation is allowed: dates like '06.14.26', symbols like '+', and simple abbreviations work well
• No profanity or trademarked names (e.g., sports team logos) -- we'll contact you if there's an issue

Step 3: Select Your Font Style

Font choice changes the feel of the bottle significantly. Here's how to match font to purpose:

• Script (Cursive) -- best for names, wedding party gifts, occasion bottles. Elegant, personal, timeless.
• Block (Bold Print) -- best for athletic use, team gifts, short motivational phrases. Bold and readable.
• Serif (Classic) -- best for formal names, initials, dates. Professional and polished.

Step 4: Complete Your Order on Etsy

After you select your personalization and font, clicking Order on Etsy takes you directly to the checkout page with your personalization details pre-filled in the message to seller. You'll complete payment through Etsy's secure checkout.

What Happens After You Order

Here's the production timeline from click to delivery:

1. Order received -- we review your personalization details (same or next business day)
2. Production begins -- your bottle is printed using permanent sublimation (1-2 days)
3. Quality check -- we inspect the finished bottle before it ships
4. Ships out -- you receive tracking via Etsy notifications
5. Delivered -- standard: 3-7 business days after ship date

Total time from order to delivery: 6-12 business days (standard shipping). If you have a deadline -- a birthday, bachelorette party, or wedding -- order at least 2 weeks in advance to be safe.

How Sublimation Printing Works (and Why It Matters)

There are two ways to put a design on a water bottle: a decal (applied to the surface) and sublimation (fused into the coating). Decals peel. Sublimation doesn't.

Sublimation printing uses heat to transfer dye directly into the surface coating of the bottle. The result is a design that is part of the bottle -- not sitting on top of it. It won't peel after washing, won't scratch off with normal use, and won't fade with exposure to water or sunlight.

Care Instructions

• Hand wash recommended to preserve the design and insulation long-term
• Top-rack dishwasher is acceptable for the bottle body -- hand wash the lid
• Do not use abrasive scrubbers on the printed surface
• Do not microwave
• The bottle keeps cold drinks cold for 24 hours and hot drinks hot for 12 hours

Ordering for a Group or Event

• Each bottle in a group order can have different personalization (different names)
• Order them together for consistent production timing
• Contact us before ordering groups of 10 or more -- bulk pricing is available
• For weddings and events with hard deadlines, order 3 weeks in advance minimum

Returns and Issues

Because every bottle is made to order, we cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse or personalization regret. If your bottle arrives damaged or the personalization is incorrect (not what you entered), contact us within 7 days and we'll replace it at no charge.
